BRMA’s “Code of Ethics” comprises principles and values that steer the behavior, decisions, and actions of individuals within our association. This code’s purpose is to define a standard of conduct that fosters ethical behavior, integrity, and responsible practices for both our Board and members. It serves to guarantee that individuals within the association and partner communities uphold a common set of moral principles and ethical standards
All BRMA members shall:
- Observe the organization’s Code of Ethics, Bylaws, and Policies.
- Uphold the highest standards of ethics when conducting business on behalf of the organization.
- Use BRMA brand (trademarks, logos, artworks, photographic images, or other visual or audio materials) with approvals by the Board of Directors.
- Use the membership list for official BRMA business, personal networking and communication in alignment with our values and guidelines.
- Respect individual differences, rights, and freedoms.
- Treat everyone with fairness, and justice.
- Communicate professionally with empathy, and compassion.
- Maintain the integrity of the organization.
- Actively participate in all BRMA meetings and activities.
It is prohibited to:
- Use the BRMA brand in any manner other than in the conduct of BRMA business, as determined by the Bylaws and the Board of Directors.
- Engage in any activity that is contrary to its mission and objectives.
- Use our membership list for sales or services solicitation.
It is imperative that controls and security of trade secrets be maintained and all access privileges are surrendered upon termination of membership.
We, as the Board of Directors for BRMA, recognize that our collective commitment to these principles is essential to building trust, maintaining credibility, and achieving our association goals. As representatives of BRMA we embrace this Code of Ethics as a guidepost for our behavior and decision-making.
