Benefits of BRMA

BRMA provides members with a great way to keep informed about the latest trends, methods and technologies available in our industry. Regardless of years of experience, there’s something for everyone to both gain and contribute.

BRMA attracts members throughout Northern California, and beyond. Most of our members work in the extended San Francisco Bay Area. We work hard to meet your professional needs, while keeping in mind your time constraints and desire to have face-to face interaction with peers in your industry. BRMA offers both regular in-person meetings, where you can network and attend presentations on the latest topics, as well as periodic webinars.

History of BRMA

BRMA was founded in 1993. In November 1995, BRMA became incorporated under the California Non-Profit Corporations.

Although our association is one of the oldest, we continually strive to enhance our offerings to improve the benefits for our members.

Our programs promote knowledge sharing for all levels of expertise. BRMA strives to provide useful tools that members can apply to their jobs, and to their professional growth. Membership feedback guides the Board of Directors in planning the organization’s activities.

How is BRMA governed?

The activities of the organization are directed by the elected officers – President, Secretary, Finance Director, Membership Director, Program Director, Communications Director, Marketing Director, and Technology Director – to meet the specific needs of our membership. There are several documents which govern the activities of BRMA. These include:

  • Bylaws
  • Articles of Incorporation
  • Code of Ethics
  • California Non-Profit Rules
  • BRMA Operating Standards, Policies, and Guidelines.
